Oakhill Nature Reserve recently teamed up with the Goole District Lions to hold a school painting competition aimed at encouraging visitors to help keep the reserve free from litter.
Pupils from Boothferry Primary School and Kingsway Primary School were invited to create colourful posters highlighting the importance of not littering while enjoying the nature reserve. The competition gave children the opportunity to share their creativity while helping to spread an important environmental message.
The winning and selected posters will help remind visitors to respect the natural environment and protect the wildlife that calls Oakhill Nature Reserve home.
