Hi, I’m Mike!
I work as a Countryside Access Officer, where I have the privilege of caring for local nature reserves and supporting community groups. My role is centred on protecting and enhancing these natural spaces so they can be enjoyed by everyone, both now and in the future. I’m particularly passionate about landscaping projects, as they allow me to shape the environment in ways that benefit wildlife while also improving access and enjoyment for visitors. Working closely with the community is a big part of what I do, I value bringing people together, encouraging involvement and helping others feel a sense of ownership and pride in their local green spaces. At the reserve, my aim is to create a welcoming, well-managed environment where biodiversity can thrive and people can connect with nature.
