Winter Bird Watch Hosted by Paul Adams
Sunday 12th February 2017 – Start Time – 14.00
Join friends and field guides for an informal and leisurely tour of the reserve focusing on the birds that reside and visit during the winter months at Oakhill Nature Reserve. A chance to hear some of the nocturnal birds that reside and frequent the reserve. Such as Tawny Owl and Woodcock. A special listen will be for Long-eared Owl.
This event is will run into the evening, so it would be a good idea to bring along a torch to help navigate the paths, also if the sky is clear enough Paul Adams will give an astronomical guide of the night sky.
Please meet up at the Oakhill Nature Reserve Car Park off Tom Pudding Way, Goole (next to the Tesco Distribution Centre) DN14 6XL.
Please remember to wear suitable clothing and footwear for this Countryside Event.
